Pristine mats are in perfect condition with no visible defects. Every mat has clean edges, intact surfaces, and a uniform appearance. Pristine is the right choice for high-visibility areas, commercial equestrian facilities, or anywhere the appearance of the floor matters as much as its function.
Minor Blemished mats are also brand new from the manufacturer, but they carry minor cosmetic imperfections that occurred during the manufacturing or transport process. These imperfections include small tears, chipped corners, or edge nicks. The blemishes are entirely surface-level and have no effect on the mat's performance, load capacity, or durability. A Minor Blemished mat weighs the same 100 pounds, provides the same slip-resistant surface, and lasts just as long as a pristine mat in any stall environment.
Damaged mats are sold at a flat $28 each with no quantity tier. These have larger cosmetic flaws — bigger tears, more pronounced edge or corner damage, or visible defects that would not pass as Minor Blemished — but they remain fully functional 4x6 rubber mats with the same weight, traction, and durability profile. Damaged is the right choice when budget is the priority and the mats are going into utility areas, run-ins, trailer floors, or barn aisles where appearance is not a concern.
