Before we lay a single mat, we assess the subfloor condition, check for moisture issues, and confirm the surface is flat enough to hold the material correctly. Skipping that step is how floors end up shifting, curling, or trapping moisture underneath.
For most stall mat installations, the process goes like this: we clear any existing debris, check that the concrete or compacted base is level, cut the mats to fit the specific dimensions of the space, and then lay them tight to the walls and around any obstacles. We finish the edges so there are no trip hazards and no gaps where material can curl up over time.
Gym rubber roll installations require more precision. Seams need to line up correctly, rolls need to be acclimated to room temperature before cutting, and adhesive (where applicable) needs the right dwell time before the floor can be used.
